Biography
Thomas P. Norton is a partner at Johnson Carroll Norton & Kent P.C., and has a general civil practice with concentration in estate and trust planning, real estate, business organizations, and limited litigation in commercial and real estate disputes. He was born and raised in Evansville, Indiana and attended Reitz Memorial High School. He attended Centre College of Kentucky graduating in 1974 and Cumberland School of Law of Samford University graduating in 1977. He was admitted to the Indiana Supreme Court, and the United States District Court for the Southern District of Indiana. Mr. Norton began law practice with his father, Robert D. Norton with the law firm of Norton, Schwentker, Norton. A successor firm, Norton & Norton, LLP, merged with Johnson, Carroll, Griffith & D'Amour on February 5, 2005. He and his wife, Linda, have been married for 42 years and have two sons, Robert and Andrew.
