J. August Straus is a Partner at Johnson Carroll Norton Kent & Straus who joined the firm in 2001 after beginning his legal career as an associate in one of Evansville's larger law firms. August is an Evansville native who graduated from Mater Dei High School in 1993. August draws upon his experiences as a former deputy prosecutor for Vanderburgh County, as well as his experiences at the larger Evansville law firm, to help individuals with their criminal, family law, personal injury, and general litigation needs. When not meeting with clients helping them with the personal demands of their individual matter, August spends most of his time in Court handling various litigation matters.
