The five members of Johnson Carroll Norton & Kent have an uncommon level of experience spanning diverse areas of the law. Our firm has provided legal counsel and litigation services in Evansville and southwest Indiana since 1952.
Edward Johnson and Brian Carroll followed in the footsteps of their fathers, founding attorneys Edwin Johnson and John Carroll. Thomas Norton, who had been in practice with his own father for many years, merged his practice with the Johnson Carroll firm in 2005. David Kent round out a talented team with more than 135 years of collective legal experience in private practice, business, nonprofit organizations and public service.
Our members have their niches as well as overlapping legal disciplines, enabling us to serve clients in many areas of practice, including estate planning, probate, elder law, family law, business law, real estate, criminal defense, mediator services and general civil litigation.
Our attorneys are proven trial lawyers with many reported cases and legal scholars who have written, lectured and taught at universities. They are active in many professional organizations, including the Evansville and Indiana State Bar Associations and the National Academy of Elder Law Attorneys, and involved in numerous community organizations.
